Shimane Susanoo Magic aims for victory in the B.League. Jun Mihara, a referee, also works as a city employee in Matsue. He is involved in promoting the team and expanding its fan base.
Jun Mihara is a member of the sports promotion division in Matsue city. He is responsible for hosting sports tournaments and training camps, and providing participants with information on Matsue's sightseeing spots and restaurants.
He is also working to boost support for the Shimane Susanoo Magic, the only professional sports team in Shimane Prefecture, which plays in the B.League.
Jun Mihara's Career
Although he had no formal soccer experience, Mihara became interested in refereeing after watching the 1998 World Cup in France on TV. He obtained his fourth-grade referee license in 2003 and made his debut as a J.League referee in 2013. He then became an international referee in 2017.
Mihara has accumulated experience in major tournaments such as the Asian Cup and was selected as the J.League's best referee in 2025.
